Background

Marsh Corporate Services successfully implemented PeopleSoft v8.01 HCM/Global Payroll as one of the early adopters in the UK.

In 2008, they have decided to migrate the UK instance to their global platform. This is effectively a UK upgrade from 8.01 to 8.3, and is likely to be a pre-cursor to further upgrades as the single instance is further improved for Marsh business processes.

IT Bites have been appointed as PeopleSoft Lead based in UK.

Deliverables

1. Fit/gap UK to Global instances, with appropriate strategies for resolution or re-platforming

2. Upgrade to Payroll interface to 3rd party outsourced payroll provider

3. Project management and leadership of UK based staff, and interaction with US based Technical team

4. Establishment and execution of a full User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan

5. User documentation

Delivery

The project has a 2 phase go live with HR processes re-platformed in December 2008 (successful) and new payroll interface in Spring of 2009.
